Despite their naturally flamboyant appearance, zebras are surprisingly partial to bling…
These are the real names for groups of animals, I’m not making this stuff up. Promise. This is the third for this week’s Illustration Friday theme, The Zoo. The others are here and here.
Oh, my! Can I have those red shoes?? They’re fantastic! The zebras are marvelous, made even more so by their incredible ability to accessorize - the wristwatch and bow-tie, the pocket kerchief, the stole… fabulous! A very swish party - dazzle indeed.

I just giggled out loud…at work..very dangerous. I guess that would be GOL.
This series is just crazy cute! My husband, (a fairly manly man) can be found “giggling” at your critters on a regular basis. Shhhh, don’t let him him know I told you.

You know, I had always thought of zebras as pretty passive animals, that was until I saw the one on the far left wearing a fox! Why doesn’t the Discovery channel ever pick up on that? “Killer Zebras! Slaves to fashion, or mindless maniacs?! Tonight at 11!”
